About Us
YES Trust Zimbabwe is a non-profit making NGO that advocates for young citizens' rights to Health, Education and Social protection through Edutainment/Multimedia advocacy strategy.
The Youth Edutainment Services Trust organization is a youth led non-profit making Civic Society Organization established in 2008 by a group of young women from different women rights groups/organizations and formerly registered in 2013 as a Trust in Zimbabwe with the aim to enlist the support of edutainment/multimedia advocacy campaign strategy in empowering and creating awareness on issues affecting young citizens especially women on Health, Education and Social Protection. YES Trust Zimbabwe’s core focus areas are gender equality, Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights, Human Rights, Peace Building, Climate Action, Advocacy, citizens’ participation in local governance, democracy, Arts and Culture.
Key Achievement/Opportunities
YES Trust is now among the 17 leaders of the Global Generation Equality Action Coalition on GBV against women and girls , platform for global advocacy on ending violence against women and girls convened by UN Women and co-hosted by Mexico and France through bringing together governments, activist, corporations, feminist organizations, youth and allies to achieve transformation change.

YES Trust Zimbabwe organization uses edutainment/multimedia advocacy strategy as a tool to connect local development issues with those in global south. Our youth creative and colorful projects inspire personal learning, reflection, action and allow for interaction with the public and various sectors of the community especially focusing on young people.

The organization’s edutainment strategy creates space for exchange of methodologies, sharing of perspectives, valuable debate and discussion on the use of terminology
Projects:
- Implemented 3 years Asikhulume/Let’s Talk project enhancing youth participation in local governance supported by Restless Development, SAFAIDS and EU 2016-2018.
- Construction of Gender Based Violence (GBV) One Stop Centre for women and girls who survivors of GBV in Matabeleland South Province.
- Monitoring of health service delivery at Plumtree Mangwe District Hospital and clinics supported by CORDAID & World Bank from 2015 to date.
- Advocating for improved SRHR services for adolescent girls and young women
- Enhancing youth and women participation in electoral processes in Zimbabwe harmonised elections
